Richard DuClos is a multifaceted professional with deep expertise in accounting, computer programming, and industrial automation engineering. His career began at a public utility company, where he worked as a computer programmer, developing systems to support large-scale energy operations. That foundational role sparked a passion for solving complex technical problems and laid the groundwork for a career that bridges business and technology.
Over the next two decades, Richard expanded his expertise—working as an accountant, automation engineer, and management consultant across multiple industries, including energy, manufacturing, and professional services. In 2015, he co-founded Nigel Solutions Group to offer small businesses and professionals a reliable partner in bookkeeping, paralegal, and IT support.
Richard holds three degrees: a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, B.S. in Accounting, and a M.S. in Industrial Technology. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Forensic Accounting to deepen his ability to support clients with complex financial needs. His diverse background allows him to bring clarity, structure, and strategic insight to each client engagement.

Outside of his consulting work, Richard is also involved in audio and video production through his production company Discerning Sight & Sound. He enjoys creative work, physical fitness, and maintaining a lifestyle that reflects balance and purpose.
